PRESIDIO PARK

Presidio Park in Old Town San Diego

Presidio Park is located about 1 block just outside of Old Town. It is a beautiful 40 acre green park, with rolling hillsides overlooking Old Town from the north end of Taylor Street. Presidio Park is often overlooked as a major San Diego attraction and does not attract large crowds like Balboa Park does. The Park is a perfect place to walk, read a book, hike or take a siesta under the large palm trees. On any given day you will see joggers running the many trails. The park is also popular with picnickers, and many couples have taken their wedding vows on the park's long stretches of lawn, some of the greenest in San Diego. From the top of Presidio Park visitors can enjoy sweeping views of San Diego. The parks main attraction is The Junipero Serra Museum which sits at the top of the hill.
