Hacienda de las Rosas in Old Town San Diego

Located at Plaza del Pasado in the heart of historic Old Town, Hacienda de las Rosas ambiance reflects the traditions of the late 1800’s San Diego, with costumes and products from that time period. Hacienda de las Rosas wines are made from California grapes, many grown in San Diego County. The wine names reflect the proud heritage of the Peruvian Paso Horse and emulate some of our own horses’ namesakes.

Wine Tasting's at Hacienda de las Rosas

A visitor to our Wine Tasting Room would be greeted by a family member from our huge custom hand-carved pine bar, with comfortable seating in the garden room, which is on the side of the place. In the garden tasting room there are 2 to 3 tables that you can sit at and enjoy your wine. To the left of the main wine tasting bar area, the store owner has set up a little place for local artist to come and sell their artworks that they have produced. Included in the Wine Tasting Experience are your choice of five wines (red and white), a complimentary Old Town wine glass, and delicious appetizer tray. The wine is poured by one of the family members, who is very knowledgeable and offers insightful recommendations.
